AMX Funding Company is a regional correspondent commercial, investment banking, commercial and residential construction and residential mortgage brokerage firm. We work alongside national and regional lenders providing conventional, SBA and USDA guaranteed loans.

AMX Funding Company offers residential mortgage brokerage services in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island with national mortgage lenders.

History

AMX Funding Trust Company was founded by D. Alan Scribner II in the spring of 2003. Mr. Scribner holds degrees in economics and finance from the University of Vermont, as well as advanced certificates from Boston College and Harvard University. Mr. Scribner has over 30 years' experience in commercial and investment banking, as well as residential lending, and he has been employed by prominent lending institutions, including the First National Bank of Boston,Signal Capital Corporation, Union Federal Savings Bank and Allied Capital.

In the wake of the banking mergers which took place in New England at the turn of the century, AMX Funding Trust Company was established to meet the growing demand for commercial equity from the many small to medium-sized companies that were experiencing an abdication from their local community banks.

In 2004, with more New England banks merging and curtailing relationships with small to medium-sized residential builders, AMX Funding Trust Company assisted companies in securing builders' lines of credit for new residential construction. At the same time, AMX Funding Company was established to support the residential builder in securing residential mortgages for buyers of these new houses.
